Happy Winter Solstice!
Yesterday's morning sun highlighted these african violet petals' unique texture, making them appear as if coated with a diamond glaze. Click on photo to enlarge,

  9. Mare - it's a new home on the other side of Detroit - better in every way. I am enjoying personalizing it - my best Christmas present ever. Hope your Christmas is good as mine this year. Actually, I extend that wish to everybody !

  11. PX huge congratulations on your new home! And Merry Christmas!

You could check at a local nursery or even Home Depot or Lowes for African Violets. They all have pretty healthy ones as a rule. Less expensive than a florist (so you can buy more! Hee hee)

I envy you being able to start with a fresh palette and put your own stamp on your new home. What fun! And to top it off with a piece of Casey's art. You are, indeed, a lucky man this holiday season! :)

PS I hope your African Violets will have pixie dust on them, too!
